SCCC Early College Program

For eligible students who may be interested in participating in Suffolk's Early College Program for Spring/Summer/Fall 2020, two Parent Information sessions will be hosted on the Ammerman Campus (Selden). Students, parents and counselors are invited to attend one of the following informational sessions which will be held in the Babylon Center, Montauk Room:

  • Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

  • Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Discussed will be the program and application process. These information sessions are for eligible, interested students currently in Grades 10, 11 and 12.

Students are able to take courses on the Ammerman Campus in Selden or the Sayville Center and pay a special, reduced rate of less than one-third of the established tuition rate per credit hour. Fall 2019 semester paid a special reduced tuition rate of $57.00 per college credit.

All courses taken through Suffolk's Early College Program are college credit bearing courses where the students attend classes at the College alongside other on-campus college students. Students who meet the required pre-requisites may take courses in a variety of subject areas. Classes through the Early College Program are available in the late afternoons, evenings and weekends during fall and spring semesters, and any time and campus during summer session II in July.

Students who are enrolled in the program can complete 24-33 college credits over two years.
