MOOV Attendance System

Introducing the MOOV Attendance System

The Moov logo, featuring a white 'M' within a location pin icon, and the word 'MOOV'.

MOOV is a secure, digital platform that uses student ID cards to simplify and improve how attendance is recorded throughout the school day. The system also integrates with key areas of student life—streamlining hall passes, cafeteria access, extracurricular activity tracking, and even connections to services such as MySchoolBucks, SchoolTool and ParentSquare. Beginning in October 2025, we will be introducing the MOOV attendance system as part of our daily school operations.

MOOV also strengthens building security by monitoring student movement and ensuring that only authorized students access designated areas. In addition, temporary IDs can be issued quickly to minimize disruptions if a card is lost.

Benefits for Students, Parents, and Staff

  • Students
MOOV makes attendance easy, reduces classroom interruptions, and allows them to move through hallways and lunch periods more efficiently. The system includes a positive reward feature, where students can earn points for consistent attendance and participation in extracurricular activities, helping to “gamify” positive behaviors.
  • Parents
Parents will receive automated updates through ParentSquare, keeping families informed of their child’s daily attendance and activities. This helps strengthen home-school communication and ensures greater transparency.
  • Faculty
Teachers will benefit from faster, more accurate attendance taking, streamlined hall pass management, and improved security, allowing them to focus more fully on instruction.
